This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily Human Resources operations and the delivery of services.
• Guide, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Senior HR Generalists and HR Generalists.
• Set operational priorities, define service expectations, establish escalation protocols, and ensure accountability.
• Enforce and uniformly apply HR policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Enhance HR service delivery, control measures, workflow processes, automation, and self-service options for employees and managers.
• Assist throughout the complete employee lifecycle, which encompasses workforce planning, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, development, employee relations, and separation.
• Act as the main point of escalation for intricate employee relations issues.
• Direct investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, performance management, and employee separations.
• Collaborate with institutional HR leaders to promote unified HR standards, tools, resources, and best practices.
• Provide HR leadership during reorganizations, restructures, position adjustments, workforce transitions, and other organizational initiatives.
• Manage the operational administration of compensation programs, including job evaluations, market pricing, salary recommendations, and compensation analysis.
• Collaborate with Benefits, Workforce Development, Employee Engagement, HR Systems & Technology, Legal Affairs, Finance, Payroll, and Information Technology departments.
• Leverage HR data and people analytics to identify trends and guide operational recommendations.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility within the Human Resources team.
• Independently address routine and complex HR operational issues while escalating significant risks or enterprise-level decisions to the Vice President of Human Resources.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in HR leadership or management roles.
• Substantial experience in employee relations, HR operations, and consultative HR support is essential.
• Familiarity with the complete employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and separations.
• Advanced understanding of HR operations, employee relations, employment practices, and HR compliance.
• Knowledge of compensation practices, talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, benefits, and leave policies.
• Experience with Workday and other HR technologies for data-driven decision-making.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Capability to work effectively in a remote setting and be available during established business hours.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience in supporting organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and complex employment matters is strongly preferred.
• Background in multi-location, multi-state, higher education, system-based, or similarly complex organizations is preferred.
