Director, Human Resources

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a vital business partner, contributing to the development of business strategies and making key decisions.

• Ensure that the workforce strategy is in alignment with business strategies and operational goals.

• Advocate for HR best practices and encourage collaboration among various departments.

• Lead cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and achieve ambitious objectives.

• Cultivate a culture that swiftly resolves conflicts and addresses root issues.

• Assess the organizational vision, mission, structures, processes, and personnel.

• Investigate, identify, and address issues related to organizational effectiveness.

• Carry out assessments and design, recommend, and facilitate the implementation of organizational solutions.

• Maintain professional and effective communication with distribution center associates and professional contacts.

• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks within set deadlines.

• Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by the manager in response to business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and ten years of progressively responsible related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

• Experience in strategic thought leadership within complex organizations.

• Proven record of delivering measurable business impact within cross-functional senior management teams.

• In-depth knowledge of human resource functions, processes, organizational culture, design, development, effectiveness, as well as business objectives and strategies.

• Strong research and data analysis capabilities.

• Experience with needs analysis, organization design and development, change models, and optimization of organizational structures.

• Proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and clearly presenting ideas to employees, management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Advanced skills in conflict resolution.

• Experience in coaching senior and executive management.

• Exceptional project management abilities.

• Strong leadership, communication, consultative, partnership, facilitation, and team-building skills.

• Proficient consulting and presentation skills, including meeting and training facilitation.
