This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead comprehensive portfolio planning within HR Technology, ensuring transparency regarding initiatives, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee portfolio intake and prioritization processes, providing data, capacity insights, dependencies, and trade-offs for informed decision-making.
• Deliver program management leadership for significant cross-functional HR Technology initiatives.
• Organize workstreams, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, and readiness for implementation.
• Establish governance and delivery standards for the portfolio; identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Direct resource and capacity planning across the portfolio.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews, steering committees, planning cycles, and executive reporting.
• Convert complex program data into clear insights, recommendations, and decisions.
• Coordinate execution across HR Technology, HR Centers of Excellence, Enterprise Technology, regional teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Define program success metrics and monitor delivery against business and operational objectives.
• Establish governance for AI-enabled HR Technology initiatives, including readiness, dependencies, adoption, risk, and outcome tracking.
• Innovate portfolio and program management practices through AI, automation, analytics, and contemporary tools.
• Create scalable standards, tools, and practices that enhance delivery discipline and minimize administrative workload.
• Transform product roadmaps and priorities into integrated delivery plans, resource demands, milestones, and dependencies.
• Align business priorities, implementation needs, and organizational readiness with HR Centers of Excellence and Global HR Operations.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and delivery in collaboration with Enterprise Technology, Information Security, Architecture, Data & Analytics, and Integration teams.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity decisions, executive governance, and strategic initiatives.
• Set delivery expectations, governance, milestones, dependencies, and accountability with strategic vendors and implementation partners.
• Communicate portfolio health, highlight trade-offs, facilitate decision-making, and address delivery challenges with senior stakeholders.
• Own the comprehensive HR Technology portfolio plan and delivery roadmap.
• Own the portfolio intake, assessment, and prioritization framework.
• Own enterprise program management standards and governance.
• Own execution of major cross-functional HR Technology programs.
• Own resource and capacity planning for the HR Technology portfolio.
• Own portfolio health, risk, dependency, and milestone reporting.
• Own executive portfolio reviews, steering committees, and decision support.
• Own program success measures and outcome tracking.
• Own governance and delivery tracking for AI-enabled initiatives.
• Own portfolio management tools, analytics, automation, and reporting.
• Continuously enhance Hilton's HR Technology portfolio and program management practices.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in technology program management, portfolio management, transformation, consulting, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience leading complex enterprise technology programs, portfolios, PMOs, or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives with multiple platforms, stakeholders, vendors, and dependencies.
• Experience in establishing and managing portfolio governance, program management, prioritization, capacity planning, risk management, and executive reporting practices.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities and product roadmaps into cohesive execution plans.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of evaluating complex information and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field (helpful, not a minimum qualification).
• Experience in leading or transforming a Technology or HR Technology Portfolio Management Office or PMO.
• Background in supporting enterprise HR technology and large-scale HR transformation programs.
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery, product operating models, and modern portfolio management practices.
• Experience in governing the delivery of AI-enabled technology initiatives.
• Proficient in utilizing AI and automation to enhance program management, reporting, planning, risk management, and decision support.
• Knowledge of enterprise portfolio and project management platforms, analytics, and visualization tools.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Agile, portfolio management, or similar certification (beneficial).
• Experience managing complex programs across global organizations and multiple countries or regions.
• Experience in the hospitality sector or other global consumer-facing industries.
