πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide methodological guidance throughout the entire spectrum of HEOR evidence generation.

β€’ Act as the internal scientific expert for robust evidence generation that supports regulatory engagement, HTA review, and payer value communication.

β€’ Collaborate with biostatistics, epidemiology, global market access, and external academic and consulting partners.

β€’ Facilitate the integration of HEOR from early clinical development to commercialization.

β€’ Create and manage the health outcomes research strategy for Lilly's portfolio compounds.

β€’ Serve as the senior HEOR strategic partner on lead and core teams.

β€’ Develop and implement patient-focused outcome, real-world evidence, and economic value strategies.

β€’ Establish HEOR standards across the cardiometabolic health portfolio.

β€’ Generate high-impact science throughout the product lifecycle.

β€’ Utilize expertise in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-focused outcomes, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology/value assessment.

β€’ Address health outcomes challenges related to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access.

β€’ Mentor and guide junior scientists and colleagues.

β€’ Lead health outcomes evidence planning and execution with cross-functional teams.

β€’ Advise business partners on HEOR prioritization, trade-offs, and recommendations.

β€’ Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of HEOR scientists.

β€’ Allocate talent and resources effectively across the portfolio.

β€’ Foster an inclusive, high-accountability team culture.

β€’ Communicate health outcomes information to internal stakeholders, the scientific community, and customers.

β€’ Spearhead dissemination efforts through abstracts, posters, presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts.

β€’ Plan and drive the application of research findings and deliverables.

β€’ Monitor developments in disease-state, health outcomes, methodology, and market trends.

β€’ Anticipate future market needs and trends to strategically plan HEOR capacity and initiatives.

β€’ Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and scopes in collaboration with cross-functional partners and external collaborators.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Doctorate (PhD, MD) with 7+ years of experience OR PharmD/MS degree with 7+ years of experience in formulating, executing, and delivering HO strategies/projects.

β€’ Extensive knowledge of causal inference methods for observational data, including target trial emulation, active-comparator new-user design, and marginal structural models.

β€’ Proficiency in quantitative synthesis methods, such as network meta-analysis and indirect treatment comparison.

β€’ Expertise in health technology assessment methodology and cost-effectiveness/economic modeling.

β€’ Experience in constructing and evaluating Markov, discrete event simulation, and budget impact models.

β€’ Strong publication history in comparative effectiveness, meta-analytic, or health economic methods.

β€’ Direct experience in building or reviewing cost-effectiveness models and HTA dossiers, including those for NICE, ICER, or equivalent organizations.

β€’ Exceptional comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills.

β€’ Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively within and across teams.

β€’ Documented experience in establishing and leading HEOR strategy across a portfolio or therapeutic area.

β€’ Demonstrated leadership experience in managing, developing, and guiding scientists.

β€’ Proven ability to influence senior internal and external decision-makers.

β€’ Established capacity to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination.

β€’ Ability to think globally while maintaining a customer focus and solution-oriented mindset.
