Director – Health Plan Programs and Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and operational insights to senior leadership, facilitating key initiatives and growth strategies in the market.

• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy teams to ensure alignment with wider organizational goals.

• Collect information and initiate action plans on topics, issues, and projects that affect operations and strategic initiatives.

• Work with senior leadership to meet business objectives effectively.

• Coordinate with leadership team members to provide updates on projects and initiatives during leadership meetings.

• Serve as the President’s liaison to market teams and corporate departments.

• Represent the President’s plans and actions accordingly.

• Identify impacts, risks, and interdependencies while supporting the development and monitoring of actions and integration activities.

• Oversee the creation of the President’s internal and external meeting materials.

• Manage special projects or committees as assigned by the Plan President or COO.

• Assist with strategy, planning, and business development activities, including meetings, requests for information, and presentations.

• Lead the planning and development of Business Review presentations alongside the leadership team.

• Collaborate with the CFO to design and develop the Annual Operating Plan and related forecasting overview materials for the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Significant prior experience in health plans is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.

• Knowledge of Oregon Medicaid is beneficial.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, Health Care Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Strategic Planning or Business Development.
