This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and continuously enhance the Health Systems HIT and digital solutions strategy to align with Guardant's Health Systems priorities and customer requirements.
• Lead the Health Systems EMR / Digital Strategy & Optimization workstream, focusing on roadmap, priorities, governance, cross-functional dependencies, and success metrics.
• Maintain a forward-thinking perspective on EHR/EMR capabilities, interoperability, FHIR, APIs, population health technology, digital quality measurement, analytics, AI, patient engagement, and emerging healthcare technologies.
• Identify technological opportunities to minimize friction throughout the patient journey and expedite patient identification, activation, screening completion, measurement, optimization, and scalability.
• Convert recurring customer challenges and workflow needs into scalable HIT and digital solution approaches.
• Establish frameworks for standardizing, configuring, or co-developing solutions.
• Define solution architecture, requirements, design principles, and success criteria prior to implementation.
• Transform account-level insights into reusable standards, workflows, playbooks, tools, and enterprise capabilities.
• Identify systemic barriers within Health Systems and promote enterprise-level solutions.
• Act as a trusted HIT and digital solutions advisor during strategic engagements with Health Systems.
• Collaborate with SAMs in discussions involving CIOs, CMIOs, informatics, digital, population health, IT, analytics, clinical, and operational leaders.
• Lead the exploration of customer technology environments, workflows, data capabilities, interoperability requirements, constraints, and future priorities.
• Simplify technical complexities into clinical, operational, financial, customer, and patient implications.
• Assist customers in integrating Guardant capabilities into their existing ecosystems.
• Collaborate with EIMs, the Senior Manager of Solutions, and SSMs to ensure technical integration supports intended workflows and business outcomes.
• Establish handoffs and operational models across solution design, technical implementation, workflow implementation, activation, measurement, and optimization.
• Identify recurring workflow barriers and opportunities for standardized approaches in conjunction with Solution Success leadership.
• Ensure HIT capabilities facilitate coordinated One Guardant activation across Sales, Medical, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, and other partners.
• Create systems for capturing customer and field HIT insights.
• Convert recurring customer needs into roadmap and capability recommendations for Product, Data & Analytics, Operations, IT/Digital, and other partners.
• Develop HIT tools, playbooks, discovery questions, decision frameworks, and best practices.
• Foster HIT fluency throughout Health Systems and empower customer-facing teams to engage specialized HIT expertise.
• Coach and mentor Enterprise Integration and Solution Success teams on strategic HIT concepts and customer engagement.
• 10+ years of experience in Health System information technology, clinical informatics, healthcare technology, digital health, enterprise solution architecture, interoperability, healthcare consulting, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working within or closely with complex Health Systems and IDNs.
• Strong understanding of EHR/EMR ecosystems and the integration of clinical and operational workflows.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, interfaces, and healthcare data exchange.
• Knowledge of population health, clinical data, analytics, patient identification and activation, and healthcare technology infrastructure.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into scalable enterprise technology or solution requirements.
• Experience engaging credibly with CIO, CMIO, informatics, digital, IT, analytics, population health, clinical, and operational executives.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong executive communication skills, strategic thinking, and program leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferred experience with Epic or other major EHR ecosystems, population-health technology, digital quality measurement, healthcare analytics, clinical decision support, digital patient engagement, AI-enabled healthcare solutions, laboratory or diagnostic integration, cancer-screening workflows, value-based care technology, or enterprise digital transformation.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to critically evaluate and responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
