This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement foundational product and therapy knowledge programs for global sales teams.

• Provide clinical and product education to facilitate global launch readiness.

• Collaborate with regional training leaders to ensure uniform execution of internal education that aligns with global standards.

• Develop non-promotional, clinically focused educational programs for physicians and allied health professionals.

• Partner with regional training leaders for localized program delivery.

• Build and nurture relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to facilitate peer-to-peer education, advisory boards, and proctoring initiatives.

• Define standardized global curricula for education across the portfolio.

• Oversee the creation of on-demand learning solutions, train-the-trainer programs, virtual simulations, and modular e-learning.

• Establish and uphold governance and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for global training and educational initiatives.

• Evaluate program effectiveness through competency assessments, adoption metrics, and compliance audits.

• Prepare and manage the budget, including forecasting estimates and explanations for LBE cycles.

• Cultivate talent, enhance organizational capabilities, and develop succession plans throughout the Global Training & Education network.

• Anticipate capability trends and prepare talent pipelines across Abbott.

• Optimize performance metrics, developmental activities, and human resources.

• Collaborate with physicians, Abbott leadership, Medical Affairs, Global and Regional Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Research & Development, Regulatory, Legal, and Quality teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Strong clinical background.

• 8–10+ years of experience in medical education, clinical training, or related roles within MedTech or healthcare.

• Demonstrated experience in designing global training programs and engaging KOLs.

• In-depth understanding of cardiovascular therapies and interventional procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.

• Remote position based in the United States.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

• Preferred: Advanced degree.

• Preferred: Experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Cardiology.
