This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement foundational product and therapy knowledge initiatives for global sales teams.

• Deliver clinical and product education to facilitate global launch preparedness.

• Collaborate with regional training leaders to ensure consistent internal education execution.

• Develop non-promotional, clinically-oriented education programs for physicians and allied health professionals.

• Work with regional training leads for localized program delivery.

• Establish and nurture relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for peer education, advisory boards, and proctoring initiatives.

• Create standardized global curricula that align with product Instructions for Use (IFUs), regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.

• Spearhead the development of on-demand learning solutions, virtual simulations, train-the-trainer programs, and modular e-learning content.

• Set up governance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global training and educational programs.

• Evaluate program effectiveness through competency assessments, adoption metrics, and compliance audits.

• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and explanations for the LBE cycle.

• Cultivate talent, enhance organizational capabilities, and create succession plans.

• Anticipate capability trends and develop Abbott-wide talent pipelines.

• Optimize performance metrics, developmental initiatives, and human resources.

• Collaborate with Abbott leadership and various functions including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and Quality.

• Report directly to the Global Head of Professional Relations and Education for Structural Heart.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required.

• A robust clinical background is essential.

• 8-10+ years of experience in medical education, clinical training, or similar roles within the MedTech or healthcare sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in designing global training programs and engaging with KOLs.

• A comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular therapies and interventional procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are necessary.

• Willingness to travel both domestically within the United States and internationally (30–40%).

• Preferred: An advanced degree.

• Preferred: Experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Cardiology.
