This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Offer extensive expertise in fraud and financial crime, providing consulting support to sales teams while identifying opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.

• Engage with senior leaders in fraud and risk management among clients to comprehend their business challenges and suggest solutions utilizing BioCatch’s platform.

• Create and present articles, webinars, and conference talks to establish BioCatch as a leader in behavioral intelligence and device-based fraud detection.

• Represent BioCatch at corporate events, industry gatherings, and executive briefings.

• Clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Recognize emerging customer challenges and innovative solution concepts, collaborating with the Product team to prioritize new use cases.

• Assess new use cases for technical viability and functional appropriateness.

• Partner with clients alongside sales to achieve valuable outcomes.

• Contribute to the BioCatch Client Innovation Board, assisting in the evaluation and prioritization of product innovations.

• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, fraud threats, and regulatory developments.

• Share market insights with internal stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Threat Analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in fraud and financial crime roles within financial services or fraud technology firms.

• More than 3 years of consultative work at the executive level.

• Demonstrated expertise in fraud, financial crime, and cybersecurity fields.

• Capable of articulating how fraud teams operationalize technology within the fraud prevention framework.

• Proven track record in interpreting fraud and financial crime metrics, developing business cases, and quantifying ROI for clients.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for engaging audiences and promoting BioCatch’s solutions during conferences.

• Expert consultative skills, with the capability to collaborate, grasp technical details, and engage senior stakeholders with confidence.

• Creativity and outstanding problem-solving skills, alongside active listening, collaboration, resilience under pressure, a strong sense of purpose, motivation, coachability, competitiveness, curiosity, accountability, integrity, a positive mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

• At least 2 years of experience generating thought leadership content through articles, podcasts, panels, webinars, or media interviews.

• Proven ability to drive revenue growth through advisory support and domain expertise.

• Experience in identifying new fraud use cases and influencing product roadmaps based on client feedback and business case analysis.

• Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and fraud/financial crime threat environment.

• Familiarity with fraud data sources, analytics, and reporting mechanisms.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading cross-functional teams, and participating in innovation boards or governance processes.

• Demonstrated ability to support or lead innovation initiatives and effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, ACAMS) or a master's degree are advantageous.

• Exposure to various industries beyond financial services.

• Familiarity with AI/ML or digital identity technologies, with experience in AI-driven behavioral biometrics.

• Background in marketing, event organization, or public relations.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, data privacy laws) and their implications for fraud prevention strategies.

• Established network of contacts within the fraud and financial services communities.

• Multilingual capabilities or experience working in diverse cultures and regions.

• Proven history of mentoring teams and facilitating design thinking or strategy workshops.
