This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Act as a domain expert consultant and reliable partner to regional sales and customer success teams.

• Offer extensive expertise in fraud and financial crime, providing consulting support to sales teams to uncover opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.

• Engage with senior leaders in fraud and risk management to comprehend business challenges and suggest solutions based on BioCatch’s platform.

• Create and present articles, webinars, and conference presentations to establish BioCatch as a frontrunner in behavioral intelligence and device-based fraud detection.

• Represent BioCatch at various company and industry events, as well as executive briefings.

• Clearly present intricate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Recognize emerging customer challenges and innovative solution ideas, collaborating with Product to prioritize new use cases.

• Assess new use cases for their technical viability and functional suitability.

• Collaborate with clients and the sales team to achieve value-driven outcomes.

• Participate in the BioCatch Client Innovation Board to assess and prioritize product innovations.

• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, fraud threats, and regulatory trends.

• Provide market insights to Product, Sales, and Threat Analytics stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in fraud and financial crime roles within financial services or fraud technology providers.

• At least 3 years of experience in consultative engagements at the executive level.

• Proven depth of knowledge in fraud, financial crime, and cyber security domains.

• Ability to explain how fraud teams implement technology within the fraud prevention framework.

• Established capability to interpret fraud and financial crime metrics, build compelling business cases, and quantify ROI for customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to captivate an audience and promote BioCatch’s solutions at conferences.

• Advanced consultative skills with the capacity to collaborate, grasp technical details, and engage senior stakeholders with confidence.

• Creative mindset and outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Strong active listening, collaboration, resilience under pressure, sense of purpose, motivation, coachability, competitiveness, curiosity, accountability, integrity, positive demeanor, and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in delivering thought leadership content through articles, podcasts, panels, webinars, or media interviews.

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through advisory support and domain expertise.

• Experience in identifying new fraud use cases and influencing product roadmaps based on client feedback and business case modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and the fraud/financial crime threat environment.

• Familiarity with fraud data sources, analytics, and reporting.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading cross-functional teams, as well as participating in innovation boards or governance processes.

• Proven ability to support or lead innovation initiatives and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Desirable: Advanced certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, ACAMS) or a master’s degree.

• Exposure to various industries beyond financial services.

• Familiarity with AI/ML or digital identity technologies, including experience with AI-driven behavioral biometrics.

• Background in marketing, event organization, or public relations.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, data privacy laws) and their implications for fraud prevention strategies.

• Established network of contacts within the fraud and financial services communities.

• Multilingual skills or experience working across diverse cultures and regions.

• Proven history of mentoring teams and facilitating design thinking or strategy workshops.
