This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create compensation programs, policies, and strategies for ministry executives, encompassing both short- and long-term incentive plans, SERP, and retention initiatives.
• Advise senior leaders on compensation decisions, practices, policies, and guidelines.
• Deliver in-depth compensation analyses, models, recommendations, and expert guidance to management and HR executives.
• Collaborate with Executive Talent Acquisition on total compensation proposals and the onboarding process for new executives.
• Engage with executive candidates and new hires to discuss their compensation packages.
• Offer support to departing executives when needed.
• Work alongside the Human Resources Compensation Committee's independent consultant on plans and programs that necessitate Committee review and endorsement.
• Prepare materials and assist in presentations for the Committee.
• Collaborate with Legal, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit, and third-party administrators to ensure precise reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams addressing associate pay, mergers and acquisitions, cost-saving measures, audit findings, and the development and implementation of compensation systems.
• Conduct compensation-related tasks for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including due diligence, retention, and integration.
• Provide ad hoc reports, analyses, and support for special projects.
• Stay informed about trends and regulations related to executive compensation.
• Prepare recommendations and presentations for the HR Committee of the Board.
• Assist in the compilation and review of necessary filings.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, or Accounting.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in compensation.
• At least 2 years of specific executive compensation experience in a healthcare context is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and decisive judgment.
• Capability to work with minimal oversight.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment and take suitable actions.
• Experience in leading and mentoring others.
• Private Equity or Venture Capital experience is a plus.
• Preferred Master's Degree (MBA or MHR).
• Desired certifications: CPP, PHR, SPHR.
