This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive communication and facilitate the implementation of OCHIN’s Epic installation strategy for the designated application portfolio.
• Organize, lead, and oversee installation analyst teams through subordinate leaders and staff members.
• Provide direction and expertise on Epic implementation practices, application interdependencies, and member preparedness.
• Supervise staff development, assess performance, ensure succession planning, and enhance workforce capabilities.
• Identify and prioritize portfolio initiatives, align work with outcomes, and monitor organizational metrics and member results.
• Lead the portfolio management for Clinical, Lab, and Ancillary implementations.
• Coordinate inter-portfolio dependencies with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Billing, Data Services, interfaces, and third-party systems.
• Define anticipated business outcomes, project scope, timelines, resource allocations, risks, and deliverables for installation projects.
• Collaborate on implementation plans and deliverables with Quality Assurance, Learning, Maintenance, Data Services, Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and other teams.
• Manage application configuration, integration, testing, readiness, deployment, go-live support, and stabilization.
• Direct standardized processes and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Monitor quality, productivity, adherence to schedules, budget performance, risks, and stabilization outcomes.
• Act as an executive escalation point for intricate implementation challenges.
• Encourage collaboration and engage both technical and operational expertise.
• Communicate decisions, outcomes, risks, achievements, and lessons learned with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on change management, workflow transformation, adoption, and readiness strategies.
• Ensure direct reports set and track objectives, regularly meet with leadership, and accurately document time.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, information systems, health informatics, or a related field is mandatory.
• An equivalent relevant combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in healthcare information technology, Epic operations, implementation, or a related field is required.
• Relevant Epic certification in one or more Revenue Cycle applications is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of management or leadership experience within technical teams is highly preferred.
• Proven success in leading complex Epic implementations and multidisciplinary teams through transitions.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics, identify risks, and make informed operational and resource decisions based on data.
• Strong skills in relational leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and executive-level escalation management.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality and process improvement principles alongside robust systems-thinking capabilities.
• Capability to develop leaders, coach teams, build skills, and foster accountability for results.
• Excellent judgment, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment.
• High-speed internet service is required.
