Director, Enabling Tech Product Management – Upstream Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead the global enabling technology strategy for Enovis’s orthopedic portfolio.

• Set portfolio priorities and focus on the introduction of new products.

• Create long-term roadmaps that incorporate hardware, software, and data.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing Communications, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education, Sales Training, and other cross-functional teams for product and strategy implementation.

• Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, scaling, and optimization.

• Formulate product requirements based on surgeon workflows, clinical outcomes, and economic benefits.

• Direct enabling technology initiatives across R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams.

• Work alongside R&D and engineering to provide unique solutions within budget and on schedule.

• Ensure global scalability and readiness for product launches, including training, supply chain, regulatory approval, and commercial deployment.

• Convert strategy into commercial value propositions targeted at surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs.

• Propel global launch excellence, segmentation, pricing strategies, and adoption plans.

• Collaborate with sales leadership to enhance implant utilization, penetration, and pull-through.

• Establish and monitor KPIs such as adoption rates, utilization, capital ROI, and procedural growth.

• Keep an eye on competitive technologies and market trends, turning insights into product and positioning strategies.

• Support executive and investor narratives regarding the differentiation of enabling technology.

• Foster alignment among global R&D, marketing, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams.

• Promote data-driven decision-making through financial modeling and strategic frameworks.

• Develop and oversee business cases that address revenue, NPV, and capital investment trade-offs.

• Enhance capital efficiency and ROI; assist in M&A and partnership assessments.

• Cultivate relationships with global key opinion leaders and lead initiatives to capture the voice of the customer.

• Transform surgeon needs into workflow-integrated solutions that boost confidence, efficiency, and outcomes.

• Travel and participate in or organize trade shows, training programs, and related events as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in successful marketing roles within the medical device industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in orthopedic enabling technology.

• Proven track record in launching and scaling complex capital equipment or technology platforms.

• Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures, particularly in adult reconstruction.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams in a global setting.

• Experience with financial modeling including NPV, ROI, and capital investment decisions.

• Familiarity with robotics, navigation, AR/VR, or digital surgical technologies.

• Knowledge of ASC market dynamics and outpatient trends.

• Strong communication and storytelling skills at the executive level.

• Ability to define a long-term vision while managing short-term priorities.

• In-depth understanding of surgical workflows and enabling technologies.

• Focused on adoption, utilization, and revenue impact.

• Data-driven decision-making with a strong discipline in business cases.

• Capability to align and mobilize global teams.

• Candidates must possess full-time work authorization in the United States, both presently and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel as needed to engage with and educate customers and sales personnel; attend and coordinate trade shows, training programs, and related travel as necessary.
