
Director, EHR Adoption, Training, Optimization – Organizational Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a senior leader within the EHR Practice.
• Assist healthcare organizations in achieving measurable value from their EHR investments through adoption, optimization, organizational change management, training, and strategies for long-term sustainment.
• Spearhead transformational initiatives across provider, payer, public health, and integrated delivery network settings.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders, clinical leaders, operational leaders, and technology teams to enhance user engagement, promote workflow adoption, boost EHR proficiency, and establish lasting governance models.
• Develop, scale, and commercialize consulting services centered on EHR adoption, optimization, workforce transformation, and digital enablement.
• Oversee complex consulting engagements that involve managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide counsel to C-suite and senior healthcare executives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; preferred areas of study include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least TEN (10)+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, EHR leadership, or healthcare technology.
• A minimum of 5+ years leading large-scale healthcare transformation projects.
• Proven expertise with at least one major EHR platform: Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), or MEDITECH.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery and operational processes across various domains: clinical operations, ambulatory care, acute care, revenue cycle, population health, patient access, care management, or digital health.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing Organizational Change Management programs.
• Documented success in leading enterprise adoption and engagement initiatives.
• Experience in developing long-term sustainment, governance, and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Strong executive presence with a background in advising C-suite and senior healthcare leaders.
• Experience in managing complex consulting engagements involving budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Certifications in Epic, Oracle Health, or MEDITECH, or comparable platform expertise are preferred.
• Preferred certifications include Prosci, CCMP, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar.
• Experience with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, large health systems, government health agencies, or payer organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare quality, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in utilizing analytics, adoption metrics, and user behavior data to drive transformation results is preferred.
• Travel may be required up to 25%.
