This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Drive mission impact and effectively communicate the maternal and child health initiatives of March of Dimes to supporters.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors and prospects to meet revenue objectives.
• Identify and secure corporate partnerships and strategic alliances.
• Manage and expand a donor revenue portfolio throughout the donor spectrum.
• Sustain a consistent year-round revenue pipeline for events, mission investments, major and mid-level contributions, and planned giving.
• Identify, recruit, and lead volunteer leadership teams.
• Implement core event strategies and deliver exemplary fundraising events.
• Provide personalized donor experiences and develop mission-driven activations within stewardship plans.
• Record donor and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
• Work collaboratively with market leadership to recruit and support qualified volunteer leaders.
• Engage volunteers and advocates throughout the year through mission, fundraising, and advocacy initiatives.
• Utilize the Volunteer Hub to inform and engage volunteers.
• Assess and activate candidates for volunteer roles on event committees.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their productivity, profitability, and revenue targets.
• Conduct performance evaluations and set performance and behavioral goals for direct reports.
• Foster a productive, professional, respectful, and culturally diverse workplace.
• Monitor the revenue progress of direct reports weekly and implement growth strategies as necessary.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating and securing major gifts.
• Proven ability to build and secure corporate partnerships.
• Skill in developing relationships across diverse sectors, communities, and organizational levels.
• Track record of successfully recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities, including the motivation of staff and the ability to lead change.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience in ensuring data accuracy and analyzing reports to evaluate and implement action plans.
• Ability to cultivate and manage donor relationships effectively.
• Skill in mobilizing supporters and volunteers.
• Capacity to identify and secure market volunteer leadership.
• Ability to generate and close leads for mission investment opportunities.
• Proficient in using CRM systems and the Volunteer Hub.
