Director, Digital Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, including C-suite leaders, influencing digital and AI-driven transformation agendas.

• Drive and participate in pre-sales initiatives, formulating solution strategies for intricate pursuits and broadening strategic accounts.

• Lead interdisciplinary teams of consultants and digital experts in crafting and implementing digital and AI strategies.

• Clarify and articulate ambiguous or complex business challenges, objectives, and goals.

• Collect and evaluate customer, market, and business insights to uncover opportunities for innovation.

• Conduct assessments of clients' digital capabilities and AI maturity levels.

• Design and facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews with senior client leadership, both in-person and virtually.

• Define the business vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital and AI-driven transformation.

• Perform analysis and financial modeling to validate business viability and develop business cases for change.

• Create and deliver strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and plans to client leadership.

• Develop stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management strategies.

• Identify new business opportunities, design engagement strategies, scope and estimate work, prepare proposals, and deliver pitch presentations.

• Create consulting frameworks, methodologies, and thought leadership.

• Mentor and develop junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in digital strategy, management consulting, or technology transformation consulting.

• Candidates with 12+ years of experience and enterprise-scale leadership will be considered for the Sr. Director level.

• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise digital transformation strategies encompassing people, processes, data, and technology.

• Experience in developing target operating models, role redesigns, and governance frameworks within the realm of AI/technology adoption.

• Strong financial acumen and the ability to connect transformation initiatives and adoption outcomes to business value.

• Exceptional executive presence with the capacity to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders, navigate complex organizations, and lead amidst ambiguity.

• Proven history of success in business development and strategic pursuits.

• Ability to lead through influence, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed, global organization.

• Proficiency in customer research methods, journey mapping, service blueprints, ecosystem mapping, and prototyping.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time.

• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

• Promote and ensure awareness of information security practices.

• Identify, assess, and report security risks.

• Understand and evaluate data storage, processing, and transmission for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy standards.

• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle.
