This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee the incorporation of AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics within the F135 engine program.
• Act as the primary leader in recognizing, assessing, and integrating innovative digital tools, platforms, and methodologies.
• Improve program efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction through enhanced digital capabilities.
• Analyze industry digital capabilities and pinpoint opportunities to fast-track the integration of emerging technologies into the F135 program.
• Shape the digital strategy and roadmap for the program.
• Align long-term RTX digital objectives with the business goals of the F135 Program.
• Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, agility, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or a related STEM field, along with 14 years of experience in software development and digital transformation roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity; or an advanced degree with 12 years of experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency with emerging digital trends, tools, and methodologies, such as AI/ML, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing.
• Demonstrated success in leading the integration of advanced digital technologies into large-scale programs and complex, matrixed organizations.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to export control regulations.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense sector, particularly related to propulsion systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Enterprise (MBE) (preferred).
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and frameworks, with experience as an Agile team leader (preferred).
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and motivate teams and stakeholders (preferred).
