This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a representative for VAST Data at industry conferences, meetups, and events as a speaker.
• Design and conduct technical workshops.
• Establish connections with developer communities, AI practitioners, and data engineers.
• Cultivate the Cosmos community among customers and partners.
• Create technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, videos, and documentation.
• Develop workshop materials for both in-person and virtual sessions.
• Construct applications, reference architectures, and proof-of-concepts.
• Design and execute hands-on labs for data pipelines and AI workflows.
• Showcase best practices for implementing data platforms.
• Develop and present integrations with popular frameworks.
• Act as a technical advisor to sales engineers and clients.
• Collaborate with product teams to transform customer feedback into product enhancements and increased adoption.
• Create proof-of-concept AI agents and data pipelines utilizing VAST Data.
• Generate educational content that explains VAST Data’s function in AI development workflows.
• Work with partners to highlight pipelines utilized by their AI agents.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and frameworks to discover integration possibilities.
• Background in software development, developer relations, advocacy, or technical evangelism.
• Demonstrated experience in presenting technical content publicly.
• Strong technical writing abilities with a portfolio of blog posts, documentation, or technical materials.
• Experience in creating and delivering technical workshops or training sessions.
• Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and data processing technologies.
• Understanding of distributed computing concepts and technologies.
• Software development experience with Python, SQL, vector databases, and data engineering tools.
• Insight into modern advanced storage and compute architectures, especially open-source, and their effects on data pipeline performance.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
• Understanding of contemporary database technologies.
• Experience with VAST Data products or comparable data platform technologies.
• Experience in building and deploying data pipelines in production settings.
• Active presence on social media within relevant technical communities.
• Prior experience working with enterprise customers in the data infrastructure sector.
• Comfortable presenting to audiences with an engaging presentation style.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Creative problem-solver capable of developing innovative demos and content.
• Passionate about technology education and knowledge sharing.
• Empathetic communicator who understands and addresses customer pain points.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% for conferences, customer visits, and workshops.
