This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and propel the adoption of the release management process across all Digital Product teams.
• Oversee the complete release management process from feature intake to post-launch review for SAT Suite, AP, CLEP, ACCUPLACER, and Bluebook releases.
• Define and consistently enhance release management standards, documentation, release notes, and communications.
• Create and manage the integrated release calendar, highlighting dependencies, risks, and capacity limitations.
• Coordinate release preparedness with Product, Technology, go-to-market, Learning, Enablement & Readiness, and leadership teams.
• Utilize release and launch metrics to uncover coaching and process improvement opportunities.
• Own and supervise platform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across Digital Product.
• Establish UAT standards, plan and execute UAT, coordinate issue triage, and secure final sign-off prior to launch.
• Monitor and communicate UAT status, outstanding issues, and resolution timelines.
• Act as the quality gate between development and launch, ensuring compliance with user, performance, and accessibility standards.
• Engage in quarterly planning to address dependencies related to release sequencing, UAT scheduling, and delivery timelines.
• Keep release calendars, UAT schedules, and release-readiness trackers as reliable sources of truth.
• Provide leadership with narrative-synthesized insights into delivery progress, release health, and associated risks.
• Suggest, implement, and assess process improvements.
• Manage the annual capitalized software reporting process in collaboration with Finance.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product operations or product management within a digital product or SaaS environment, with a focus on delivery and release management.
• Proven experience in leading or contributing to change management initiatives and assisting teams in adopting new methodologies.
• Experience in defining tools and evolving processes in unclear, newly established settings.
• Demonstrated success in owning release management and UAT processes across multiple concurrent product teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile delivery practices and product management tools.
• A proven track record of enhancing team usage of product management tools.
• Ability to lead by influence rather than authority, gaining trust and support.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Design, and go-to-market leaders.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
• Capability to design straightforward processes that teams can adhere to.
• Willingness to travel 5–7 times annually to College Board offices or for College Board business.
