This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
• Oversee live transactions from start to finish within GP-led continuation vehicles, LP portfolio sales, direct secondaries, fund-of-fund liquidity, and NAV/preferred solutions.
• Manage commercially and legally intricate discussions with GPs, LPs, advisors, and legal counsel.
• Make decisive evaluations regarding pricing, structuring, portfolio construction, and deal trade-offs.
• Assume responsibility for transactions from negotiation to completion.
• Collaborate with the Closing team during the execution handoff.
• Utilize and enhance networks among GPs, LPs, secondary advisors, placement agents, and institutional investors to generate exclusive deal flow.
• Establish and sustain senior-level relationships across various jurisdictions.
• Represent Tangible in external market discussions, conferences, and principal-to-principal interactions.
• Guide and develop both senior leads and junior team members.
• Set execution standards and mentor talent in deal-making.
• Collaborate with founders regarding hiring, succession planning, and team structuring.
• Work alongside founders on deal team strategy, capacity planning, and pricing approaches.
• Partner with Product, Business Development, and Compliance to convert deal experience into workflows, buyer profiles, and platform functionalities.
• Identify technological opportunities to enhance manual execution and assist in designing the operational model.
• Function within FINRA, FCA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate with compliance and external counsel to ensure adherence to jurisdictional regulations.
• Over 10 years of experience in private-market transactions, with significant exposure to secondaries, private equity, fund-of-funds, or related private-market M&A advisory.
• Previous experience at the Vice President or Director level with a secondaries advisor, investment bank, financial sponsors/M&A team, or a comparable institution.
• Proven track record of managing complex private-market transactions from initiation through to completion.
• Experience leading challenging commercial and legal negotiations.
• Strong external network with GPs, LPs, advisors, and institutional counterparts.
• Experience in building, managing, and mentoring a deal team or sub-team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to thrive in a high-growth, tech-enabled setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with sophisticated external counterparts and internal stakeholders.
• Existing FINRA Series 7 / 63 / 79 registration is advantageous.
• Significant exposure to GP-led continuation vehicles, NAV lending, or preferred equity structures is a plus.
• Proficiency with US and UK legal transaction documentation and multi-jurisdictional closing processes is beneficial.
