Director, Data Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Data Solutions business, encompassing revenue, clients, team management, and product strategy.

• Identify and secure strategic opportunities within hedge funds, asset managers, private equity, venture capital, and family offices.

• Establish a reliable pipeline through effective pricing, packaging, and forecasting methodologies.

• Provide guidance to senior investment professionals and data strategists.

• Act as the executive sponsor for strategic accounts, driving adoption, retention, and growth.

• Lead and mentor the sales and account support teams.

• Demonstrate prospecting techniques through to closing, while adapting the organization as the business grows.

• Convert investor workflows and market insights into a product roadmap in collaboration with product, data, and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in alternative data, financial information services, or data solutions.

• Over 5 years of experience in selling data or analytics products to institutional investors.

• More than 5 years of experience leading sales, account management, or client success teams, with a focus on coaching.

• Established network within hedge funds, asset managers, private equity, venture capital, and family offices.

• Deep understanding of how investors assess, purchase, and utilize alternative data.

• Proven track record of originating and closing complex enterprise deals while exceeding revenue targets.

• Strong product instincts to translate client insights into product development priorities.

• Owner's mentality; adept at navigating ambiguity and creating structure in undefined areas.
