This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the execution of customer deployment projects for each sold agreement at various QTS locations.
• Collaborate with the QTS Property Development team and specialized consultants to address customer design requirements, pricing, approvals, and the implementation of deployment scopes.
• Manage project delivery by synchronizing client objectives, business processes, vendor management approaches, and interdepartmental collaboration within QTS.
• Foster effective client relationship management and efficient cost oversight to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Act as the primary contact for Federal sales support regarding potential secured contracts.
• Serve as QTS’ liaison for new client constructions and implementations.
• Facilitate communication between the QTS Sales Team, Operations Team, Property Development Team, and clients.
• Collaborate closely with current Development Construction Project Managers to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Report to the QTS Property Development department while working in conjunction with the CHO and CRO.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant professional licenses in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
• A minimum of ten years of escalating responsibilities in the development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• At least five years of experience in overseeing data center project construction within large-scale data centers or DC lease providers.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for business purposes.
• Proven track record in managing multiple large and complex projects.
• Familiarity with Construction Health & Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Customer Deployment Technologies and Equipment.
• RCDD certification is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to independently manage timelines and provide support to staff.
• Proficiency in influencing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to remain adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of directing one’s own work.
• Strong foundation in data center design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements, with a focus on project and construction management.
