This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Lead strategic engagements in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) for direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce brands, encompassing discovery phases, ongoing retainers, and ad hoc consulting projects.
• Act as a data-driven strategic partner for clients, focusing on site experience, merchandising, acquisition, retention, analytics, user experience (UX), and digital product roadmaps.
• Formulate and implement data-driven strategies that align with both short-term and long-term business goals.
• Identify opportunities for conversion optimization throughout the customer journey by conducting quantitative funnel and behavioral analyses.
• Create data-supported hypotheses and testing roadmaps in collaboration with UX, Design, and Development teams.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests utilizing appropriate statistical techniques.
• Monitor testing and site performance, identify data anomalies, and iterate based on quantitative findings.
• Drive AI-enabled experimentation and real-time personalization projects.
• Integrate AI into insight generation, test design, execution, and performance evaluation.
• Compile, quality assure, and present monthly client performance reports that include metrics on traffic, conversion, revenue, channel mix, and testing outcomes.
• Manage analytics implementation and ensure data integrity across Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Shopify Customer Events and pixels, consent mode, bot/spam filtering, and reconciliation with Shopify orders.
• Construct automated performance dashboards in Looker.
• Conduct analyses on funnels, cohorts, segmentation, statistics, ROI, revenue growth, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
• Merge quantitative analysis with user testing, surveys, interviews, persona development, journey mapping, and competitive/heuristic audits.
• Transform multi-source data into coherent narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Serve as the final quality assurance for analytics and CRO deliverables, supervise CRO contractors and vendors, and manage the CRO task board within Asana.
• Collaborate with UX, Design, and Technical Delivery teams on site builds, migrations, redesigns, feature launches, and ongoing improvements.
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices, frameworks, and thought leadership in CRO, UX, and ecommerce strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, UX, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in leading CRO initiatives with a data-first approach, mentoring team members, guiding cross-functional teams, and managing client strategy from discovery through to execution.
• Advanced expertise in ecommerce analytics, with the ability to translate raw data into prioritized, revenue-driven actions.
• Practical experience with statistical modeling for web experiments, including hypothesis testing, sample size determination, significance calculations, and segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation tools such as Intelligems, VWO, Optimizely, Shoplift, Visually, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), including the ability to create custom reports and conduct funnel and segmentation analyses.
• Experience in developing a prioritized, resource-allocated testing roadmap based on quantitative impact assessments.
• Familiarity with the Shopify platform.
• Background in collaborating with UX, Design, and Development teams.
• Experience in conducting UX analysis, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client engagements in a dynamic environment.
• Previous agency experience supporting multiple brands and workstreams is preferred.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo or other email retention platforms is preferred.
• Cross-channel media literacy, particularly in paid social and search, is preferred.
• Working knowledge of BigQuery and SQL for independent, ad hoc data analysis is preferred.
