Data Conversion Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and data analysts to transition clients to TaxSys software.

• Prepare data for client training, validation by subject matter experts, and facilitate the TaxSys go-live process.

• Reverse-engineer legacy tax data and develop conversion specifications for TaxSys.

• Conduct quality assurance on conversion results and refine specifications accordingly.

• Investigate inaccuracies in customer data and trace their origins.

• Create specifications for developers, provide status updates in management documentation, and communicate with customers.

• Assist clients in the TaxSys data verification process.

• Help clients comprehend trade-offs and make informed data-related decisions.

• Engage in project teams consisting of 2–3 developers and 2–3 data analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience interacting directly with customers.

• At least 1 year of experience in data mapping, specifications, or delivering other outputs for developers.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience analyzing data with SQL tools.

• At least 1 year of experience using SQL.

• Exceptional planning and time management abilities.

• Experience with ETL tools and/or dbVisualizer is a plus.

• Willingness to travel approximately 15% annually for face-to-face client and colleague meetings.

• Project management experience with a strong desire to lead projects.
