This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the VP of Corporate Strategy & Development to ensure alignment among the executive team regarding the company’s long-term vision, growth goals, and business strategies.
• Oversee the cross-functional implementation of strategic initiatives, such as product investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and partnerships.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to spot opportunities and minimize risks.
• Work with senior leaders to enhance the M&A evaluation framework, prioritize strategic categories, and identify potential targets.
• Create and sustain a pipeline of M&A targets and strategic partnerships.
• Manage all phases of the M&A process, which includes pre-deal assessment, go-to-market strategy, due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution.
• Lead capital markets execution in collaboration with accounting, finance, and treasury teams.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations directly to the CEO and the executive team.
• Remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day.
• Utilize computers and phone systems, type, and operate multiple software programs simultaneously.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, corporate strategy, or corporate finance.
• Preference for experience within the software sector.
• At least 2 years of experience at a leading investment bank.
• Extensive experience in M&A execution and corporate financing.
• Proven success in leading multiple M&A transactions.
• Strong results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to think independently and work strategically as well as at a detailed level.
• Exceptional work ethic with the capability to manage various complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in presenting to C-suite executives and leadership teams.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Extensive experience in financial modeling.
• Profound understanding of financial markets.
• In-depth knowledge of the software industry.
• Strong business and technical acumen.
• Ability to quickly comprehend complex technical and financial concepts.
• Capability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours daily.
