This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Establish and enhance relationships with some of the largest health systems in the region.
• Design and implement strategic growth initiatives within 4–6 assigned health systems.
• Act as the strategic lead for assigned health systems, coordinating internal teams around customer needs and opportunities in medical products and distribution.
• Collaborate with healthcare leaders to comprehend organizational priorities and align Cardinal Health solutions with their objectives.
• Identify and promote strategic opportunities across medical products, distribution, and value-added services.
• Oversee intricate sales engagements, contract negotiations, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans.
• Conduct executive business reviews and function as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for problem-solving, addressing issues, and exploring opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that involve Sales, Clinical, Operations, Contracting, Marketing, Product Management, and other business partners.
• Propel execution through collaboration and influence within a matrixed setting without direct authority.
• Cultivate partnerships with Acute Care, Non-Acute Care, Specialty, and Field Sales teams.
• Track industry trends, customer requirements, and market dynamics to pinpoint opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally, assisting in shaping solutions and strategies that enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and patient care.
• Adhere to travel policies, credentialing requirements, and company procedures.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as needed to achieve sales goals and objectives.
• More than 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or health system sales within the healthcare, medical products, healthcare services, supply chain, or related sectors.
• Proven track record in managing complex large customer relationships and enterprise-level sales opportunities.
• Experience interacting with senior healthcare leaders, including those in supply chain, procurement, finance, and executive roles.
• Capability to tackle complex customer challenges, develop innovative solutions, and navigate through ambiguity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, foster alignment, and drive results across cross-functional teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with a background in working across multiple commercial and operational functions in a matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, distribution, healthcare services, or healthcare technology solutions.
• Ability to interpret financial metrics, evaluate business opportunities, and create solutions that enhance profitability, customer value, and strategic growth.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while balancing customer needs and internal priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
• Must live within or near the assigned territory and have access to a major airport.
• Capability to work effectively from a remote home office or in the field.
