This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create a Strategic Account Development Business Plan to support new business growth objectives for Antech Diagnostics, Antech Imaging Services, and Sound equipment.
• Establish networks and partnerships with customers to uncover growth opportunities and enhance market share through strategic marketing initiatives.
• Actively pursue qualified and prioritized new business opportunities.
• Assist in closing new business by reviewing presentations, engaging in sales pitches, and facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Develop organic opportunities with current customers while also fostering new business relationships with emerging clients.
• Keep an eye on the market landscape for potential business development opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with Strategic Account Representatives and Field Sales teams to identify opportunities and design targeted campaigns.
• Oversee the proposal process, including templates, standard text, quality assurance, and document management.
• Represent Antech at selected industry events.
• Build and nurture an engaged, skilled sales team while fostering a strong performance culture.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
• Share best practices within the team to cultivate talent and achieve targeted outcomes.
• Solicit customer feedback to enhance team skills and capabilities.
• Participate in zone and regional meetings with internal functional teams to promote corporate account growth and standardization of offerings.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as occasionally required.
• At least 10 years of experience in animal health sales, pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or biotechnology.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of success is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in national account and/or channel management.
• University degree in Science or Management.
• A post-graduate degree is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to network and cultivate new business relationships.
• Proven success with corporate veterinary practice groups, channel management, or a similar background.
• Capable of evaluating approaches to resolve customer challenges and adapting to evolving contexts.
• Strong ability to build and sustain customer relationships.
• Expertise in high-stakes negotiation planning and execution.
• Proficient in written, oral, and visual (PPT) communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks for the team.
• Skilled in navigating matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Competent in utilizing data and comprehending complex financial models.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in coaching and developing others.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preference for candidates residing near a major airport.
