Director, Contracting & Network Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Manage provider contracting, network development, and/or provider relations initiatives.

• Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures.

• Supervise provider contracting activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to business-unit policies, standards, laws, and regulations.

• Create recruitment and contracting strategies for provider networks in emerging, prospective, and growing markets.

• Assist with new business launches while taking into account market conditions, the provider community, budgetary constraints, and available resources.

• Conduct intricate financial analyses to discover opportunities for medical cost reductions.

• Formulate strategies to achieve financial objectives and implement contracting techniques.

• Direct the contracting and network development team as well as external consultants.

• Assess performance and execute business solutions to address process and quality deficiencies.

• Articulate network strategy and planning.

• Travel frequently for both internal and provider-related meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in contracting, network development, or provider relations.

• Prior experience in Medicaid/Medicare contracting.

• Proven experience in negotiating agreements with hospitals, large physician groups, and ancillary services.

• Previous management experience, encompassing hiring, training, delegating tasks, and overseeing staff performance.

• Willingness to travel.

• Valid driver's license.
