This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight in construction management for designated market segments or projects.
• Implement best practices, process utilization, quality control, safety measures, risk management, and uphold company values.
• Establish and cultivate strategic alliances with clients.
• Take full accountability for designated clients and enhance the company's market presence.
• Regularly engage with clients to assess needs, success metrics, and identify opportunities for value addition.
• Supervise project managers and on-site teams to ensure effective control and monitoring of construction activities.
• Guarantee that projects fulfill objectives, policies, procedures, performance standards, timelines, budgets, and corporate requirements.
• Spearhead the development of safety and quality programs and foster a positive culture within project teams.
• Ensure project managers meet client quality and safety targets.
• Oversee financial management of projects, including receivables, budgets, cash flow, income and expenses, cost-to-complete, and cost management reports.
• Develop junior project managers through assessments, coaching, mentoring, formal training, and varied work experiences.
• Evaluate candidates as potential successors for Director of Construction roles.
• Collaborate on the selection of project managers and site teams to create balanced project teams.
• Manage wage assessments, work assignments, bonus evaluations, and internal promotions.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of directly relevant experience with large, complex mega projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in construction techniques, estimating, construction management, financial oversight, construction design, and administrative functions.
• Proven capability to lead multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering and design principles.
• Knowledge of electrical construction and power delivery systems.
• Ability to create comprehensive work plans and management schedules.
• Familiarity with estimating strategies and techniques.
• Understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and cost control systems.
• Exceptional written presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, supervisory, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Conflict management skills.
• Capability to operate within approved budgets, optimize resource use, and contribute to profits and revenue.
• Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office suite, Primavera, and CTC net.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Experience with large, complex mega projects, including utility-scale renewable energy initiatives.
• PMP Certification.
