This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the acceptance, management, and liquidation of intricate assets on behalf of Fidelity Charitable.
• Facilitate the entire process from the initial inquiry to the completion of charitable transfers, including post-acceptance oversight and the closing/funding of Giving Accounts upon liquidation.
• Collaborate directly with donors and their advisors throughout the charitable giving journey.
• Cultivate expertise in due diligence and risk assessment, encompassing securities disclosure for both public and private M&A activities.
• Engage with and build relationships with donors, corporate issuers, in-house and external legal counsel, C-suite executives, and investor relations teams.
• Assist internal and external fundraising initiatives.
• Strengthen and enhance connections with the advisor community.
• Provide impactful practice management presentations.
• Work alongside internal partners to create and deliver practice management modules, strategic marketing efforts, and thought leadership.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• A B.A. or B.S. degree is mandatory.
• A J.D. is required.
• CFP certification is advantageous.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in relationship management.
• Desired experience in taxation, private equity, and the private capital ecosystem.
• Familiarity with financial intermediaries, TE attorneys, CPAs, and CFPs for wealth planning is essential.
• Interest or exposure to philanthropy, charitable fundraising, and planned giving is beneficial.
• Proven high-level competence in due diligence and risk assessment, particularly regarding product liability and securities disclosure in relation to public M&A activities.
