This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the acceptance, management, and liquidation of intricate assets on behalf of Fidelity Charitable.

• Facilitate charitable contributions of equity interests in privately held corporations, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.

• Manage the entire process from the initial inquiry through the charitable transfer, subsequent oversight after acceptance, and the closure or funding of Giving Accounts upon liquidation.

• Collaborate directly with donors and their advisors throughout the charitable giving journey.

• Cultivate expertise in due diligence and risk assessment, including securities disclosure for public and private merger and acquisition activities.

• Forge relationships with donors, corporate issuers, legal counsel, C-suite executives, and investor relations teams.

• Assist in both internal and external fundraising efforts.

• Establish connections within the advisor community.

• Provide impactful practice management presentations.

• Work together with internal partners to create and deliver practice management modules, strategic marketing initiatives, and thought leadership content.

• Travel as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A B.A. or B.S. degree is required.

• A J.D. is mandatory.

• CFP certification is an advantage.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management is essential.

• Experience in taxation, private equity, and the private capital landscape is desirable.

• Familiarity with working alongside financial intermediaries, tax attorneys, CPAs, and CFPs for wealth planning is expected.

• An interest or exposure to philanthropy, charitable fundraising, and planned giving is a plus.

• Proven experience and a high level of proficiency in due diligence and risk assessment, including product liability and securities disclosure related to public merger and acquisition activities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Strong time-management abilities and the capacity to prioritize and respond to competing requests are required.

• Exceptional influencing skills are a must.

• Candidates must not have any criminal histories that would restrict hiring or association under applicable laws and regulations.
