Director, Clinician Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Clinician Engagement function at DataSpring

• Enhance trust and foster a positive perception among clinicians and provider organizations

• Elevate the quality of data provided by clinicians and increase the volume of active, verified clinicians

• Establish and maintain clinician and provider staff advisory forums

• Forge partnerships with professional associations, specialty societies, medical associations, health systems, and large group practices

• Collaborate across teams including Marketing, Product, Insights, Government & Public Affairs, Data Quality, and Convening

• Recruit advisory council members and assist with council agendas and meetings

• Create webinars, podcasts, conference presentations, partner-oriented materials, and possibly continuing education content

• Act as the primary relationship manager for provider organization partners and represent DataSpring with clinical leadership

• Develop co-branded and partner-driven campaigns while managing partnership agreements

• Provide guidance on research design and interpretation; recruit participants and evaluate findings

• Compile clinician and provider staff feedback into internal briefs and actionable recommendations

• Contribute to external thought leadership and represent DataSpring at clinical, association, and industry events

• Establish success metrics, monitor clinician engagement outcomes, and report progress to executive leadership

• Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer; travel may be required up to 20% for meetings and events

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in provider relations, clinician engagement, healthcare operations, medical affairs, professional association management, credentialing, or a similar healthcare field, with increasing leadership responsibilities

• Proven experience in provider-facing roles, clinician engagement, medical affairs, association relations, provider network, or healthcare stakeholder management

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior clinical stakeholders, provider organizations, and leaders in the healthcare industry

• Experience in leading advisory boards, councils, committees, user groups, or similar stakeholder engagement initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, a clinical discipline, or a related field is required

• Strong relationship-building capabilities with provider organizations, specialty societies, and medical associations

• In-depth understanding of clinician and provider staff experiences, including credentialing, attestation, provider directory data, and administrative workflows

• Ability to convert qualitative stakeholder feedback into prioritized recommendations

• Strong executive presence and credibility with clinical leadership and internal executive audiences

• Exceptional writing skills with the capability to distill complex discussions into briefs, PowerPoint presentations, and recommendations

• Proficient in developing and delivering webinars, presentations, and continuing education materials

• Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal communication, and attention-to-detail skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Physicians and other licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply; non-clinical candidates with substantial relevant experience will also be considered
