This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Recruit and assign resources effectively.
• Conduct performance reviews and evaluations for employees.
• Engage in strategic negotiations and deals.
• Assist team members in expanding the regional business.
• Function as a player-coach, collaborating with team members to address intricate challenges.
• Organize corporate and external resources as necessary.
• Advise the Solutions Architecture team on sales strategies and methods for addressing specific issues.
• Take part in quarterly and annual strategic planning sessions with the Sales Management team.
• Develop a localized sales strategy aimed at driving revenue.
• Convey sales strategies to regional staff.
• Identify required resources to support the sales strategy and formulate a proposed budget for Senior Management review.
• Keep Senior Management updated on significant issues and changes that may impact anticipated business outcomes.
• Select, nurture, and assess personnel to achieve departmental objectives.
• Offer guidance on strategic, programmatic, and project initiatives.
• Achieve quarterly and annual quota goals in collaboration with the Sales organization.
• Create account strategies with the Sales team.
• Oversee and prioritize sales opportunities.
• Attain top-tier vendor and industry-related certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role within an IT security context.
• At least five years of experience in security fields including firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Data Loss Prevention, Security Information and Event Management, application security, and web security.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as Payment Card Industry, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
• Demonstrated success in managing technical teams.
• Proven ability to foster cooperation through leadership, mentorship, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively with vendors, prospects, clients, Account Managers, and management.
• Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly driven self-starter who can operate without daily supervision.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region.
• CISSP or other professional certifications are preferred.
• Certifications with one or more of the following core technology solution partners: Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, McAfee, F5, Blue Coat, IBM, Cisco, RSA.
• Strong connections with security professionals in the region.
• Proven history of receiving awards or recognition for outstanding technical skills and added value.
