This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Advocate for Make-A-Wish’s comprehensive vision and strategy aimed at revenue expansion.
• Oversee a portfolio of chapters utilizing a standardized service model.
• Execute the service model for portfolio chapters through strategic discussions, moves management sessions, preparation for donor meetings and solicitations, and lead generation activities.
• Propel enterprise-wide revenue growth while achieving year-over-year revenue objectives for portfolio chapters.
• Spearhead the execution of local development strategies that align with both local and enterprise-wide strategic objectives.
• Stay informed about initiatives within the Revenue department, pinpoint chapter opportunities, and facilitate chapter involvement.
• Support key fundraising KPIs and metrics across major gifts, foundations, corporate channels, collaborative fundraising efforts, and donor stewardship.
• Bring together fundraisers and leaders from portfolio chapters to share ideas and address challenges collaboratively.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, donor-focused fundraising, and a culture of philanthropy and growth.
• Engage in designing and delivering training programs that align with our shared vision, strategy, and playbook.
• Identify and nurture emerging fundraising talent for their professional growth.
• Develop and provide templates, tools, and best practices for chapters to enhance the enterprise-wide resource library.
• Collaborate with national departments such as CRLs, Integrated Marketing, Corporate, Leadership Gifts, Revenue Operations, Planned Giving, and Brand.
• Train and assist chapter staff in best practices for Salesforce and database management.
• Aid in revenue reporting and tracking using Salesforce and Power BI.
• Partner with the Revenue Advancement Network Council on best practices and comprehensive fundraising training initiatives.
• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visas or other immigration processes are not provided.
• Expertise in sales management with extensive experience in data utilization, change management, and coaching.
• Proficient knowledge in metrics-driven fundraising, including high-volume, fast-paced, scalable growth programs.
• Proven history of successful one-on-one fundraising solicitations, including securing multiple gifts at the $10K+ level while meeting revenue targets of $500K+
• Demonstrated success in leading initiatives that result in revenue growth.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Competence in time management and the capability to manage multiple directions as necessary.
• Ability to clearly communicate the organization’s mission, vision, and urgency in alignment with donor interests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Fundraising/Development, concentrating on major gifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with donors, volunteers, and executive team members.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM fundraising databases is required.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills is necessary.
• Ability to excel in a remote work setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for internal and external meetings.
• May require work outside of a traditional Monday–Friday work week and standard business hours.
