Director – CFO Advisory Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic finance advisor to CEOs, Boards, and executive leadership teams.

• Offer insights on financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, operational enhancements, and organizational development.

• Lead and manage intricate CFO engagements for healthcare organizations across the nation.

• Assist consultants in navigating complex client scenarios and strategic initiatives.

• Define and refine VMG Health’s CFO service model and delivery strategy.

• Create frameworks, tools, training resources, and best practices.

• Establish quality assurance procedures across various engagements.

• Track service line performance and pinpoint innovation and growth prospects.

• Coach and guide consultants delivering CFO and finance services.

• Facilitate professional development, training, and knowledge exchange.

• Serve as a reference for technical, operational, and leadership inquiries.

• Collaborate with firm leadership to enhance CFO Advisory Services.

• Cultivate relationships with healthcare executives and industry leaders.

• Engage in business development, proposal crafting, and sales efforts.

• Identify emerging market opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare finance.

• Background as a CFO, Fractional CFO, healthcare finance executive, or senior healthcare consultant.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, budgeting, financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning.

• Proven track record in leading and developing teams.

• Experience in building processes, creating scalable solutions, and promoting organizational growth.

• Outstanding communication skills and executive presence with Boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams.

• Previous consulting experience with healthcare providers, community health centers, or other healthcare organizations is preferred.

• CPA, MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.
