
Director, Business Persona Architecture and Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Develop and nurture the strategic persona framework encompassing People, Process, Data, and Technology.
• Engage in essential forums and governance boards to evaluate and authorize designs and features impacting business personas.
• Serve as a strategic consultant to business leaders regarding resistance management, communication, and persona adoption strategies.
• Advocate for cross-functional collaboration among User Access Management, Security, ISRM, RAC, Training, and Data.
• Deliver persona-based analytics and insights to inform decisions and ensure compliance with GxP standards.
• Coordinate impact assessments related to ways of working, SOPs, training, communications, and provisioning effects.
• Oversee upstream and downstream dependencies across various teams.
• Drive the execution of role mapping and persona governance in partnership with global functional and local site teams.
• Establish and report persona KPIs to program leadership, councils, and forums.
• Collaborate with peer groups to ensure end-to-end transparency in persona governance.
• Conduct maturity assessments and audits to enhance governance effectiveness and compliance.
• Manage the retrospective cleanup of personas and rehabilitation of technical debt from previous releases.
• Align persona strategies with Transcend program releases, Operate State, and IM Digital Operating Model Principles.
• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, is strongly preferred.
• Over 8 years of extensive leadership experience in implementing change management principles, persona/role-based methodologies, and possessing strong technical skills.
• In-depth expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business architecture, persona and identity management, and data flows for persona mapping and change adoption.
• Experience in user persona development, journey mapping, impact assessment, mitigation, and realization strategies.
• Significant experience in facilitating governance and chairing senior leadership forums across global and regional functions.
• Proven leadership in large-scale transformation and operational model changes within complex, regulated industries.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred experience in directing technical debt remediation and governance initiatives.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical/biotech regulated environments, compliance-driven access requirements, and enterprise risk management.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
