This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the initiative to secure new business and manage the expansion or renewal of existing accounts as necessary.
• Oversee the entire sales process, which includes generating leads and qualifying prospects.
• Direct cross-functional teams during pursuit efforts and provide guidance on deal strategy, pricing, service offerings, value propositions, and presentations.
• Concentrate on acquiring new sales contracts, employing team selling techniques, and implementing solution selling approaches.
• Manage a designated sales quota effectively.
• Develop deal structures, pricing strategies, and proposal plans.
• Identify and pursue new brand prospects while cultivating an industry network to enhance the sales pipeline.
• Investigate cross-selling opportunities for both current and potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals.
• Offer ongoing commercial support for accounts secured by the DBD.
• Enhance knowledge within the assigned vertical to enable consultative selling.
• Primarily focus on one vertical or business unit while also assisting with other deals as directed by the sales leader.
• Tailor Ryder’s solutions to fulfill customer requirements.
• Transition new accounts and business to the relevant account leadership after a 24-month period, unless otherwise specified by management.
• Aim to propose $120 million in business over a five-year timeline.
• Secure one SCS/DTS cross-sell opportunity.
• Comply with Ryder’s policies and procedures, including the Travel and Expense Policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Support the Automotive, Aeronautical, and Industrial (AAI) vertical.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience, with at least three years meeting quota and two years achieving 75% of quota.
• At least five (5) years of experience in selling supply chain solutions, with quota attainment exceeding three times within a 60-month period.
• A solid understanding of services, costs, pricing, and value.
• A valid Noncommercial Driver License CLASS E is required.
• Excellent listening, writing, and speaking skills to inform, explain, and provide instructions effectively.
• Strong skills in presentation, interpersonal communication, negotiation, customer service, problem-solving, time management, and priority-setting.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, adapt to changing conditions, work independently or as part of a team, meet strict deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Capacity to establish and nurture professional relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel 40%–50% of the time.
• A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
