This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead growth initiatives within the United States market
• Enhance the company’s presence as a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO)
• Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries
• Propel revenue growth for pharmacovigilance services
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan to broaden the client portfolio
• Establish and reinforce connections with Directors of Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Procurement
• Facilitate meetings, deliver presentations, and showcase service capabilities
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and subject matter experts on proposals, RFP responses, and customized client solutions
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional networking events
• Manage leads and opportunities in CRM platforms and provide progress updates to leadership
• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets
• Formulate business development strategies for the US pharmacovigilance market
• Leverage industry insights and professional networks to identify opportunities
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with senior leaders in Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and Procurement
• Advocate for pharmacovigilance services and proprietary AI and automation technology platforms
• Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to uncover emerging service opportunities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• More than ten years of experience in business development or client acquisition within the CRO, pharmacovigilance, or life sciences outsourcing sectors
• Strong professional network and comprehensive understanding of the US pharmacovigilance landscape
• Proven track record of securing new business and finalizing contracts with mid-to-large-sized pharmaceutical or biotech companies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in remote-first or hybrid work environments
• Experience working with international clients, particularly those in the UK and EU
• Familiarity with FDA, EMA, MHRA, and ICH guidelines
• Previous experience in marketing outsourced drug safety or regulatory services
