This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel sales growth within a designated geographic region.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies for a specific portfolio of clients and geographic area.
• Balance the acquisition of new clients with the development of existing accounts.
• Utilize data-driven analysis to prioritize time, client opportunities, and market potential.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key client decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
• Lead customized, multi-touchpoint sales strategies tailored to client needs, pipeline dynamics, and strategic objectives.
• Drive expansion initiatives, renewal opportunities, and transitions to the next phase.
• Collaborate with operations, therapeutic strategy, deal strategy, and delivery teams to co-create solutions.
• Share client insights internally to foster team alignment and support proposal development.
• Educate clients on Syneos Health’s value proposition, as well as clinical and commercial capabilities and services.
• Review territory performance, forecast pipeline progression, and adapt plans accordingly.
• Maintain client interactions, pipeline, and sales records in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs.
• Represent Syneos Health at client meetings, industry conferences, and relevant events.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or biopharma in a business development, commercial, or strategic sales capacity.
• Proven success in managing intricate B2B sales cycles.
• Experience engaging with mid- to executive-level client relationships.
• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated capability to identify client needs and co-develop impactful solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative leadership style.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Data-driven decision-making, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for client meetings, conferences, and internal events.
