This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead new business initiatives to meet sales objectives while mentoring and developing a team of Business Development Managers.
• Create and implement innovative sales strategies for both yourself and your team.
• Recruit, manage, and cultivate a top-tier team of Business Development Managers.
• Gain expertise in the product and restaurant sectors to guide the team in advising restaurant owners effectively.
• Innovate, present, and promote the company’s solutions and technology offerings.
• Close sales, generate new business opportunities, and surpass sales targets consistently.
• Lead, inspire, and motivate a high-performing sales team while fostering accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify areas for enhancement within the sales organization and spearhead initiatives that strengthen and scale the sales framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Pursue ongoing skill development through reading, podcasts, peer interactions, and other professional growth avenues.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in second-line management within the software sector, ideally in an SMB-focused environment.
• A proven history of personal and professional success.
• 5–7+ years of experience leading successful Business Development or Sales Development teams.
• Demonstrated success in generating leads, building sales pipelines, closing deals, and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Advanced expertise in sales, including consultative and solution-based selling, as well as negotiation tactics.
• Strong background in developing, coaching, and mentoring sales teams to achieve optimal performance.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess sales data, market trends, and competitive activities to guide strategic decisions.
• Self-driven, motivated, and resourceful, with experience leveraging various channels and tools, including social media, to foster relationships and expand networks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in or selling to the restaurant industry is highly advantageous.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
