This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, coach, manage, and inspire Business Development Representatives to meet revenue targets.
• Build a top-tier business development team through effective hiring, training, and development practices.
• Establish organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, and success metrics aimed at enhancing revenue growth and efficiency.
• Guide representatives through call reviews, performance management, content coaching, selling skills, quality assessment, and adherence to processes.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing operations to optimize Salesforce.com, Outreach, 6sense, and other engagement platforms.
• Mentor BDRs on conducting account research, identifying key stakeholders, and generating interest through structured, multi-threaded outbound campaigns.
• Produce and disseminate team performance reports, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.
• Ensure that sales-accepted opportunities align with company targets and provide a robust pipeline for the sales organization.
• Qualify inbound demand and devise regional outbound strategies utilizing digital and field marketing resources.
• Inspire and develop BDRs through coaching and incentives while fostering career advancement.
• Plan, forecast, and manage ramp-adjusted team capacity in alignment with sales and marketing demands.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing BDR efficiency, effectiveness, lead generation, qualification, and sales handoff.
• Oversee BDR reports and dashboards to ensure clear visibility for stakeholders.
• Manage career progression paths within BDR functions, including transitions into sales roles.
• Refine BDR methodologies, campaigns, hiring criteria, training, and enablement strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date BDR onboarding and ongoing product training in collaboration with marketing, sales, and people operations.
• Concentrate on the quality of opportunities and key metrics such as sales-cycle impact, close rates, pipeline contribution, and average deal size.
• At least 5+ years of experience in leading sales or business development teams.
• Demonstrated success in generating sales pipelines through outbound prospecting teams.
• Proven capability to develop and refine sales development processes, methodologies, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablement strategies.
• Experience managing an inside, outbound prospecting team.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, BDR cadence management software, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to foster cross-functional alignment between sales and marketing teams.
• Skill in attracting, retaining, and motivating outstanding BDRs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
