This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee ChowNow's business development operations, which includes the partner evaluation framework and the partner journey from initial discussion to market launch.
• Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities to enhance revenue, acquire restaurants, and expand market reach.
• Align the partner strategy with the company’s vision, revenue objectives, and product roadmap.
• Become well-versed in ChowNow’s products and effectively communicate technical capabilities to prospective partners.
• Collaborate with teams from Partnerships, Executive Leadership, Sales, Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Restaurant Success, Legal, Finance, Data, Engineering, and Customer Support.
• Manage the business development process, from sourcing and qualification to deal structuring, negotiation, and market execution.
• Maintain key partner relationships across technology integrations, referrals, and channel partnerships.
• Assess opportunities for entering new markets and adjacent verticals, including decisions on building, buying, or partnering.
• Travel to industry events and partner offices as necessary.
• Within 30 days: complete Ramp Camp, familiarize with product technicalities, shadow sales calls, establish priorities, and meet partners.
• Within 60 days: take ownership of partner intake and evaluation, facilitate discovery calls, prioritize partners, and develop launch plans.
• Within 90 days: launch 1–3 new partners, refine the business development framework, lead partner Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
• 8–10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel/reseller, or POS integration roles, preferably within the restaurant technology sector.
• Proven history of sourcing and closing new partnerships that resulted in measurable revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and structuring complex, unstructured challenges.
• Working knowledge of APIs and the ability to engage in technical discussions with product and engineering teams.
• Proficient in evaluating commercial deal structures, constructing financial models, and negotiating partnership agreements.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships across internal teams and with external partners.
