This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong, +3 more countries.
• Enhance Carry1st’s primary payment technology by extending it beyond gaming into rapidly growing consumer digital and direct-to-consumer sectors.
• Manage the entire deal cycle, overseeing everything from building a pipeline and fostering senior relationships to negotiation and deal closure.
• Implement the industry-expansion strategy and playbook in the market, validate it through customer interactions, and establish a replicable go-to-market approach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients.
• Deliver customized solutions and facilitate efficient closures that contribute to client success and the growth of the company.
• Convert the industry-expansion strategy into a prioritized target-account and outreach strategy.
• Focus on high-volume, consumer-oriented enterprises aiming to broaden their market presence.
• Establish connections with senior decision-makers, including VPs of Product, Heads of Strategy, and Commercial Executives.
• Effectively communicate and showcase the value of Carry1st’s products and services, tailoring the message to meet customer requirements.
• Confirm buyer needs, use cases, messaging, and commercial assumptions related to consumer demand in emerging markets across Africa and the Middle East.
• Negotiate terms, address objections, and finalize deals to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
• Maintain a strong deal pipeline using CRM tools to monitor progress and predict outcomes.
• Transition clients after closure to the Implementation team while sustaining commercial relationships for renewals and growth.
• Collaborate with Product and Implementation teams to provide market insights and support effective, deployable solutions.
• Incorporate field insights into the commercial playbook and steer investment in new industries.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in enterprise software, cross-border infrastructure, or strategic FinTech commercial positions.
• Proven track record of achieving targets, building new pipelines as a proactive hunter, and quickly advancing high-priority, high-value deals to signed contracts.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
• Cross-cultural adaptability to convey complex technical and commercial information clearly and convincingly.
• Experience in growth-stage settings where the commercial strategy is still developing.
• Capability to independently introduce early strategies to the market, shorten deal timelines, and refine the playbook based on insights.
• Established network of connections within Product and Corporate Strategy teams at leading consumer technology companies.
• Understanding of how global brands manage infrastructure challenges in emerging regions.
• Superior negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to quickly establish credibility with senior external stakeholders and expedite commercial agreements.
