This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and sustain a national network of high-performing orthopedic representatives, sales teams, and distributor principals.
• Proactively seek out and nurture top talent before they are actively exploring career changes.
• Evaluate production metrics, surgeon relationships, geographical factors, competitive positioning, motivations, career aspirations, strategic alignment, and commercial viability.
• Present qualified talent opportunities to the relevant Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sales.
• Stay updated on the orthopedic sales landscape, including organizational changes, territory shifts, mergers, restructurings, and leadership transitions.
• Track the movement of high-performing representatives and distributor teams, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Identify and assess distributor organizations with robust surgeon relationships, complementary product lines, and alignment with Advita Ortho's commercial strategies.
• Build relationships with distributor principals, qualify potential opportunities, and facilitate connections with the appropriate Regional Vice President.
• Discover untapped markets, opportunities for geographical expansion, competitive disruptions, and strategic sales organizations.
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Sales and Regional Vice Presidents to prioritize opportunities and assist with strategic distributor negotiations when necessary.
• Manage priority candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process and ensure accountability for pipeline advancement.
• Work with Sales leadership, Human Resources, and stakeholders on candidate evaluations, compensation discussions, offer development, and the candidate experience.
• After hiring, define geographic assignments, distributor structures, target surgeons, initial accounts, product focus, training needs, and objectives for 90, 180, and 365 days with relevant leaders.
• Ensure the smooth transition of new hire relationships to the appropriate Regional Vice President.
• Monitor pipeline quality, recruited representatives and sales teams, distributor opportunities, strategic markets, recruitment timelines, and the impact of competitive intelligence.
• A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success in orthopedic medical device sales, recruiting, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Proven ability to identify, engage, and recruit top-performing sales talent.
• Established network among orthopedic sales representatives and distributor principals.
• Experience in evaluating distributor organizations, market opportunities, and commercial suitability.
• Comprehensive understanding of the orthopedic sales and distributor landscape.
• Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills, with credibility among senior sales professionals and distributor owners.
• Strong business judgment, commercial insight, discretion, and the ability to assess current performance and future potential.
• Capability to build and manage a structured national opportunity pipeline and convey clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Willingness and ability to travel as business needs dictate.
