This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling tools.

• Organize tasks and assign resources, recognizing dependencies, durations, and critical path components to formulate practical timelines.

• Track progress against the schedule, making updates based on field data, change orders, or unexpected delays.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to collect schedule inputs and ensure consistency with project goals.

• Detect and oversee risks, such as potential delays, resource shortages, or weather impacts, and devise contingency plans.

• Produce and distribute schedule reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including updates on progress, variance analysis, and mitigation strategies.

• Assist in claims analysis and recovery planning in case of delays, ensuring adherence to contractual scheduling obligations.

• Work alongside procurement and staffing teams to guarantee the timely availability of materials, equipment, and labor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc.).

• Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with construction workflows, permitting, and inspection timelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Effective time management and the ability to prioritize changing deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; an associate’s degree with relevant experience may be acceptable.

• Willingness to travel for various assignments.

• Capability to spend extended periods seated at a desk and working on a computer.
