This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee 4–5 client teams while mentoring junior staff members.
• Create and execute thorough institutional fundraising strategies in collaboration with clients.
• Set both short-term and long-term fundraising objectives, along with prospecting priorities and systems for cultivation and stewardship.
• Manage deliverables related to prospect research, cultivation, solicitation, and grant calendar.
• Supervise professionals in early-career development.
• Draft select proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and concept papers.
• Guide clients on fundraising strategies, grant writing, financial matters, program evaluation, budget creation, measurement and evaluation, and organizational planning/sustainability.
• Ensure accurate Salesforce records and facilitate high-quality grant calendars and data analysis.
• Identify fundraising challenges and collaboratively devise solutions and contingencies.
• Present complex issues, objectives, and ideas in an accessible manner to client stakeholders.
• Report progress towards client objectives to a dedicated Supervisor.
• Contribute positively to Elevate’s culture, equity, inclusion commitment, and company values.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience or equivalent experience with the specified key tasks and responsibilities.
• Proven expertise in institutional fundraising.
• Capability to coach clients on fundraising strategies, grant writing, financials, and program evaluation.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and manage 4–6 client teams effectively.
• Extensive experience in institutional fundraising strategy across at least two issue areas or funding landscapes.
• Exceptional, strengths-based writing capabilities.
• Knowledge of program design to guide competitive funding proposals.
• Proficiency with budgets, basic program evaluation, and standard grant attachments.
• Ability to identify aligned funding opportunities and assist in funder cultivation.
• Experience in maintaining Salesforce records, grant calendars, and data analysis systems.
• Standard team management skills, including conducting 1:1s, task delegation, oversight, and providing timely feedback.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, consulting, professional communication, prioritization, information processing, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficient with Dropbox, Salesforce, Google Groups, and Elevate’s standard tools and systems.
• Legally authorized to work for Elevate in the United States.
• Must be available to work for Elevate in the United States.
