This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Report directly to the CEO and take ownership of Home Campus's entry into new states.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with leadership from state and regional athletic associations outside of California and Florida.
β’ Transform association connections into formalized platform agreements.
β’ Monitor the timeline for when association software contracts are up for bidding and engage proactively.
β’ Represent Home Campus at both state and national athletic administration events.
β’ Conduct product demonstrations and cultivate relationships that precede discussions with associations.
β’ Manage competitive RFP responses from start to finish and create reusable response tools.
β’ Handle inbound inquiries from schools and secure new subscriptions in states where Home Campus has established association relationships.
β’ Maintain precise records in the CRM pipeline.
β’ Transition closed-won schools to the onboarding team for a seamless handover.
β’ Proven experience in high school athletics administration or with the associations that govern it, or a solid history of sales within this sector.
β’ Established network with leaders in high school athletic associations.
β’ Skill in developing relationships through six- to eighteen-month decision-making processes within associations.
β’ Comfortable navigating lengthy consultative sales cycles.
β’ Proficiency in managing a competitive RFP from initial requirements to final submission.
β’ Excellent communication and writing skills; possesses credibility with athletic directors, executive directors, and boards.
β’ Capable of building a new function from the ground up, including defining its processes, materials, and operational cadence.
β’ Pre-existing relationships with state athletic association leaders outside California and Florida (preferred).
β’ Experience in selling compliance, eligibility, or student data software to education or public-sector clients (preferred).
β’ Background as an early or founding commercial hire (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with using a CRM as the primary system of record (preferred).
β’ Remote work flexibility within the United States.
