Director – Analytics Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the strategy, roadmap, architecture, and capabilities of the analytics platform in alignment with business goals.

• Oversee the design and execution of scalable enterprise data and analytics platforms.

• Facilitate data integration across digital, customer, marketing, and enterprise systems.

• Establish standards for data architecture, governance, security, quality, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and business teams to define analytics requirements and solutions.

• Direct the implementation and optimization of digital analytics, customer analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities.

• Assess and recommend analytics technologies, platforms, and architectural methodologies.

• Promote the adoption of cloud-based analytics and contemporary data architecture practices.

• Manage platform performance, reliability, technical risks, dependencies, and ongoing enhancements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineers, analysts, and platform teams.

• Work with senior leadership and client stakeholders to convey platform strategy, recommendations, and business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in Data, Analytics, Digital Analytics, or Analytics Platform Engineering, including a leadership role.

• Strong expertise in the architecture and strategy of enterprise analytics platforms.

• Familiarity with modern cloud data and analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Comprehensive understanding of data integration, data modeling, APIs, ETL/ELT, and modern data architectures.

• Experience with digital/customer analytics platforms and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, quality, and performance optimization.

• Strong grasp of analytics visualization and BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Proven experience leading large-scale analytics or digital transformation projects.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

• Advocate for and ensure adherence to information security practices, including the acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols.

• Identify, evaluate, and report security risks related to information assets.

• Assess data storage, processing, and transmission for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.

• Incorporate data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle.
