📋 Description

• Lead Advanced Planning as an expert in estate planning.

• Provide support to Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors.

• Offer comprehensive financial and estate planning assistance as part of a regionally aligned Advanced Planning team.

• Assist the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead.

• Conduct training sessions for advisors.

• Contribute to regional business development and thought leadership initiatives.

• Meet virtually with clients and advisors throughout the region using video technology.

• Collaborate with the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in person.

• Travel is typically 5% to 20% of the time, depending on proximity to regional sites and investor centers.

• Deliver tailored financial planning that aligns with clients’ financial goals and family dynamics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• 10-12 years of overall work experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in trusts and estate planning, income tax planning, or succession planning within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management environment.

• FINRA Series 7 and 66 must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• Knowledge of estate planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation is essential.

• Preference for experience in retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning.

• CPA, JD, M.T., or LLM in taxation is preferred.

• Ability to effectively provide and receive coaching and mentorship.

• A team-oriented mindset is essential.

• Capable of clearly and effectively communicating complex subjects.

• Demonstrated emotional intelligence to connect and communicate effectively with clients and their advisors.

• A solution-oriented, client-first work ethic is required.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing tasks, and prioritize effectively.

• Maintain a positive professional demeanor.

• Must live within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in California, Nevada, or Utah.
