This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a Manager of Account Management along with a team of Strategic Account Executives by providing planning, guidance, talent acquisition, and relationship cultivation.
• Enhance account retention rates while meeting key performance indicator benchmarks.
• Assess market trends to uncover opportunities for improving the Account Management service delivery framework.
• Develop and nurture talent by defining skills and performance metrics, and managing staff according to those standards.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Account Management and HR to create career development plans.
• Mentor and coach both Strategic Account Executives and the Manager of Account Management.
• Support the Vice President of Account Management in the annual strategic planning and execution processes.
• Formulate strategies aimed at boosting client satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and sustaining market share.
• Establish and nurture Employer Benefit Consultant relationships through proactive outreach and quarterly meetings.
• Collaborate with Business Development on EBC relationships, expectation-setting sessions, and finalist meetings.
• Set departmental service delivery objectives measured through KPIs and oversee team performance towards these goals.
• Conduct meetings with account teams and EBC firms to discuss BOB utilization, market updates, challenges, and dynamics.
• Review developmental opportunities, at-risk clients, and new business with Strategic Account Executives.
• Lead the Team Account Retention Planning process focused on retaining at-risk clients.
• Ensure adherence to Account Management standards, methods, processes, and procedures.
• Implement client marketing and messaging initiatives aligned with revenue targets, budgets, ROI, and client service satisfaction.
• Develop and modify policies and procedures based on root-cause analysis.
• Direct Account Management Managers and guide them on escalated matters.
• Identify and execute strategic initiatives while assisting in planning significant initiative rollouts.
• Participate in the development of new products/services to enhance launches and revenue-driven processes.
• Recognize operational efficiency opportunities and provide business requirements for impact assessment.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, such as surveys and webinars, and engage in internal marketing and communications events.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• At least 6 years of proven progressive leadership experience in the PBM or healthcare-related service industry.
• Experience in customer-facing leadership and account relationship strategies.
• Capability to interface effectively at all levels within a large organization and client base.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational, motivational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• High energy with a robust “can do” attitude.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of work experience is preferred.
• Approximately up to 50% travel for client or EBC-facing meetings.
